Farmers Market and Textile Recycling Event

Our first Farmers Market of the season will be Saturday, May 18th from 9am to 1pm. The 2024 market will be back at our original location, Main Street Park, located at 8013 Blivin Street.

This year we are excited to offer a breakfast buffet and drink specials, from The Grove, see their menu here, and live entertainment in June, July, August and September. Follow them on Facebook for the most up to date information.

Helping Hands Recycling will be on site in May as well collecting almost anything you need to clean out of your house!

It is estimated that 85% of all clothing and textiles end up in landfills in the U.S. today. With the goal of increasing recycling in mind, Helping Hands Recycling Center collects unwanted textiles in an attempt to divert millions of pounds of clothing from landfills. See the flyer for acceptable items.

Please note that the Helping Hands Recycling Center is not associated with our local food pantry, Helping Hands Food pantry. Please do not drop off items to be recycled at Helping Hands Food Pantry.
