Architectural Review Commission
Reviews commercial and industrial building proposals and signage proposals. Based on their findings, the Appearance Review Commission (ARC) makes recommendations to the Village Board. The Commission, seven (7) members who are appointed by the President and Village Board, meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. as necessary. THE MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Planning & Zoning Commission
Review applications regarding amendments, special use permits and variances for zoning changes. Reviews proposals for new subdivisions and resubdivisions. Based on their findings, the Planning & Zoning Commission (PZC) makes recommendations to the Village Board. The Commission, whose seven (7) members are appointed by the President and Village Board, meets the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. as necessary. THE MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Community Engagement Committee
The committee shall be responsible for promoting resident involvement, engagement, and fellowship within the village. In addition, the committee shall enhance the Village’s image and promote community awareness through effective two-way communication between the village, its residents, local community organizations and surrounding governmental entities. The committee, whose five(5) members are appointed by the President and Village Board, meet as necessary. THE MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Police Commission
The Police Commission is charged with administering the testing process of promotions, and to conduct hearings on charges brought against sworn member of the Spring Grove Police Department. The commission meets as necessary.
Members: John Bilik*, Robert Heaney and Keith Hogan.
Police Pension Board
The Police Pension Board is required by State Statute and is responsible for maintaining and managing the retirement assets accumulated from financial contributions by both active police officers an annual tax levy contributions. The commission meets quarterly and as necessary.
